Our Year In Review
A big thank you to you!

What Have We Been Up To?
2023 has been great, but more is to come in 2024

Can you believe it? 2023 just vanished in the blink of an eye, and here we are cruising into 2024. Seriously, did someone just hit fast forward?
As always, it’s time of the year to reflect on past wins and make resolutions for the new seasons. What were your wins in 2023, and what's the game plan for this year?
Over the past year, it was a rollercoaster of achievements for CreativesAtWork, and we are sending major thanks to all for your enduring support and friendship. Among all, something rad was launched - Freelancer Nation!
In our 12 years of grinding, CreativesAtWork witnessed three common pains in the creative world: freelancers struggling in their early years, clients playing it safe in the midst of global uncertainties, and keeping up with the tech and trend games.
Launch of Freelancer Nation

Freelancer Nation [“FN”] is our vision to become freelancers’ secret sauce to tackling these issues. FN is an exclusive incubation club, envisaged to provide the necessary support to build and nurture our freelancers community into sustainable businesses such that collectively we will be able to generate more value and work on bigger and more impactful projects together with our partners and stakeholders.
We hope Freelancer Nation website will be a useful resource center for creative freelancers hungry for information and inspiration on running your business. We regularly profiles inspiring stories around our freelance community about how they are building their solo-businesses. You can also check out our Podcast and Youtube channels for interesting freelancer stories.
Space for Networking and Insight Sharing Sessions

Come pop by our Clubroom at WorkCentral (Singapore Shopping Centre, Level 6) where we run regular meetups and sharing sessions for our freelancers, inviting domain experts to share insights on various aspects of running a creative business (from Finance management, Intellectual properties, to sales and marketing and managing multiple hats in a business etc.) We're not just sharing tips; but aim to equip freelancers with broader perspectives that may become the key to building their own entrepreneurial business.
Workshops, Collaborations and Overseas Opportunities

Last November, we hosted our first in-person AI and Web 3 conference for the freelance community in Singapore since the start of the pandemic to empower creative freelancers to leverage and navigate the territories of emerging trends and technologies.
In the same month, CreativesAtWork has announced a groundbreaking partnership with Singapore-based financial solutions provider Lyte to empower freelancers affiliated with CreativesAtWork to leverage on LytePay, an all-in-one financial and invoicing platform, to manage their payment matters and the option to harvest up to 6% cash rewards.
And that’s not all. With the establishment of our first overseas office in the United States (www.cdvlmarketing.com), we are set to unfurl more opportunities for our freelancers as well as to showcase their talents to an international audience.
Looking forward to more in 2024

As we peer into the plans of Freelancer Nation in 2024, there will be more intimate programmes and showcase collaborations lined up for our close group of freelancers.
Our theme for the year is ‘Action and Co-creation”. We would like to call upon more partners and freelancers alike, to join us in our dance of taking action and co-create projects that resonate with us and our community.
We believe 2024 would be a year where we see more metamorphosis of freelancers into solopreneurs and entrepreneurial businesses as we witness the dawn of a new era of Generative AI. Being equipped with the magic of GenAI tools, freelancers become more enabled in multitasking, and empowered to infuse more creativity into their works without the need for a grand entourage. FN comes in timely to help freelancers formulate their systems, better define processes, and remap workflows to better navigate in the new arenas. Stay tuned as we unveil more exciting happenings in the coming months.
Not wanting to miss out on what is coming, visit our Freelancernation.asia website, or look out for our newsletters for updates on our latest happenings. And be part of the action.
